what’s the point of bringing in other shippers, is it to just strengthen ur ship? it’s kind of irrelevant and shouldn’t make a difference to what u ship.

It’s amazing how the second someone posts something in a RenRuki blog about IchiRuki someone has to pipe up.

Why are you paying such close attention to a blog you obviously don’t agree with? 

The submitter merely said they don’t understand how people can shove aside Renji’s canon feelings of love for Rukia and Rukia’s (could be argued to be canon) feelings of love for Renji.

This particular person just felt IchiRuki wasn’t right when against RenRuki and they have the right to say that on a RenRuki blog without being called on it.

First of all it’s in the Bleach tag so I have to option to reply to it and it is my choice to do so. Second, if IRs comment on IHs or RRs like this, i’m sure there will be a shit storm worse than this, oh wait there was from Bleach Confessions the uliquihime confession. anyways, it’s stuff like this that starts shipping wars where rival ships insult other shippers. isn’t it equally logical for them to ignore the naysayers as well?

But why do you do so? Because obviously someone’s harmless comment of “I don’t understand how IchiRuki shippers…” is totally saying “IRS SUCK BALLS! COMMENT BACK AND DEFEND UR SHIP.”

The confession didn’t bash IchiRuki or its shippers. The person just said “I don’t understand…” They didn’t say “they’re stupid” or “they’re butthurt” or anything derogative. Someone commented back explaining that they didn’t set the feelings aside and I had nothing to say to that.

The UlquiHime confession bashed IchiHime outright (not the mention it was a general Bleach blog as opposed to this RenRuki one). It said UlquiHime’s better ‘cause Orihime’d scared of Ichigo, which was not only wrong, but attacking the ship’s Orihime > Ichigo connection. 

This just said they always ship RenRuki, and they don’t understand IR’s viewpoint. You guys could easily explain your viewpoint instead of being all “IR’S BETTER!11!!!”

we could keep going in circles but I do believe that ur over sensitive and r over defensive. ANd I didn’t insult the submitter either, i said y do they need to bring in shippers? y do they care if other ppl don’t understand Renji’s feelings, does that make their ship less viable?? they’re not using logic or manga proof to support their ship, instead their using other shippers. oh and I could say the same for the UH confession, that it didn’t at all insult any shippers or ships. It didn’t even bring any in, it used logic and cannon proof. Anyways, this conversation should be kept on topic and not digressed any further.

I’m over sensitive and over defensive am I? That may be true, but it’s only because IchiRukis attacking everyone is a constant thing and I’m sick of it. If I’m over sensitive and over defensive it’s only because the IchiRuki fandom has caused it with continued abuses.

They have a right to say whatever they want. I’m not them. I don’t know why they said it. If I was them, however, I’d say it because IR is a much bigger ship and it makes no sense that that many people can ignore Renji’s and Rukia’s feelings.

It didn’t insult ships or shippers? When the top of the confession is a blatant Ichi and Hime with a broken heart in between? Nah… course it didn’t blatantly attack anyone. I’m not even an IchiHime shipper and the confession tweaked a nerve.

I don’t see why you guys start it and then suddenly switch ass backwards with “No moor fighting!”

pls reread this conversation and observe i’ve been neutral and respectful to u, where as u on the other have been actively trying to provoke with insulting words. Ur first of all streotyping all shippers, like IRs. I could stererotype RRs and IHs too based on some of the rude fans i’ve encountered, but that’s stupid and irrational. I’m sorry to call u on this but ur using IR “attacks” to play the victim. Based on ur comment that ur anti IR, I guess u automatically go into ur IR attack mode, but that only makes ur arguement more invalid and u don’t seem to care how irrational and illogical u r, as long as any IR affiliated is insulted by u. U say ur not IH but u sympathise with them, but right now ur making their ship look bad, if outsiders r like u then I shudder think how the real IH fans r, fortunately I know better and judge ppl as individuals not as a group. I hope u’ll get over ur victimization stigma and learn to respect ppl.

PS I hope in real life u don’t stereotype ppl based on their race, it’s fine in fictional world but in the real world it will only contribute to our growing social problems. I wish u a better day and a meditation.

Good God. I know not IRs are evil. But I can say with the up most certainty that most are. 

It’s hilarious how you’re pretending to know me and know what I’m thinking. You’re saying that I’m trying to provoke, or trying to insult any IRs watching. I’m just venting. I know I’m not the one at fault in this. I have no guilty conscious for defending my ship and any other people who get pissed off by IR’s behavior.

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say. You’re saying I’m making the IchiHime fandom look bad by saying I see why they were mad about the UH & Anti-IH confession? I fail to see how that makes them look bad. I think that if somehow who doesn’t ship a ship thinks a comment against it was uncalled for then that says any reaction in the fandom in defense was somewhat warranted.

Also, I don’t see how being “victimized” is a bad thing. I mean, from the point where you’re fighting back, not the actual being attacked which makes you the victim. The IRs attack me, my fandom, and everyone else relentlessly. That’s a fact. If that makes me a victim, so what? I’m not trying to say “sympathize with me!!!” I’m just stating facts.

Finally, I nearly never stereotype people. In fact, I’ve only ever stereotyped IchiRuki fans.

I don’t type in CAPS or use exclamation marks unnecessarily, but if being “rowdy” is the only way to get thru ppl then that means they lack baisc comprehension skills. Ur last statement just made me lose any respect I had for u, if ur going to stereotype IRs, then there’s no point in taking u seriously. as a parting comment, u remind me of the crazy homeless person afflicted with a persecution complex and yelling in the middle of the street to get attn. It was nice to get into my first tiff with a rabid anti IR fan, thanks for breaking that virginity. Now i’ll take up the necessary precautions and block u. have a nice life and how ppl behave online does speak volumes about their real personality.

The times I typed in caps were imitating how IRs talk to me. Other than that I didn’t use any sort of unnecessary exclamation points or caps.

I’m not rabid, not am I insane, nor am I trying to get attention. I just reply when provoked by rabid, insane, IRs who are trying to get attention. I have no qualms in giving it to them, as I easily shoot down anything they have to say.

ok you guys need to calm down. i dont think the post is trying to get anyone to switch from ichiruki to renruki or anything, i think it is just a simple question. ive questioned something before not cause i wanted people to change their opinions or get more shippers cause that would just not work. this is a simple question. i dont think anyone needs to attack other people based on who they ship. we all love bleach cant we just bond through that? i mean we should just accept other peoples ships. im an ichihime shipper and an ulquihime shipper, i respect both of them, im also a renruki shipper but i completely respect the ichiruki shippers cause they are both great. lets all try to be friends, nobody needs to stereotype or anything. and you cant say you are being victimized when you are attacking the other persons ship. lets try this again my lovely bleach watchers:) we can bond over how cute ichigo is or something<3
